Try these four recordings for a pulse near 180 BPM. Our BPM Finder returned the values below from their available short previews on October 8, 2026. These are excerpt estimates; a 180.0 display does not certify an entire song at exactly 180.
Each number is what our local BPM Finder displayed, without moving it toward the headline tempo. The difference column is subtraction, not a separate measurement. Download all ten screening results (CSV), including rejected candidates.
Start with the closest reading, then check the recording
Metric’s Fantasies preview returned 180.0, making it the closest displayed result in this run. The PRISM listing for “Roar” was only 0.1 BPM higher. For “Kickstart My Heart,” the selected source was The Dirt Soundtrack; the 179.7 reading belongs to that preview, rather than every release carrying the same title. These three candidates sit on both sides of the target instead of being silently rounded to it.
The Bosstones excerpt returned 181.7. It passed our two-BPM screening window but sits farther from the reference than the other three. If a steady passage really maintained 181.7 against a 180 click for one minute, the two counts would differ by 1.7 beats. That is a conditional calculation, not a minute-long test of this recording: the available preview was shorter.
Our original plot preserves the offset from the target; it does not replace the readings with one playlist label.
What happened to the other six candidates?
The same run returned 173.7 for Sia’s “Chandelier,” 177.9 for the Live in Vegas version of “Demons,” 135.4 for Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U,” 183.8 for CAKE’s “The Distance,” 174.3 for Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” and 182.9 for “White Horse (Taylor’s Version).” None met the declared 178–182 rule, so none appears in the shortlist. The CSV keeps their source IDs and values visible.
Notice the two borderline exclusions: the live “Demons” preview missed the lower bound by 0.1, while “White Horse” exceeded the upper bound by 0.9. Those differences describe this selection rule, not proof that either song is unsuitable for you. Prince’s 135.4 was much farther away; changing that result to 180 would require inventing a different reading. We kept it as a rejected observation.
Separate the detected pulse from your counting level
For “Roar,” half of the raw 180.1 is 90.05; for the Metric preview, half of 180.0 is 90.0. These are calculated alternatives when a listener counts broader accents. Neither value was produced by a second analyzer run, and neither decides which level a performer intended. A playlist’s running-cadence label and a musical beat count need not use the same level.
Use our adjustable metronome to compare a 180 reference with the particular passage you hear. If the broader accents feel more natural, count them with the manual tempo tapper and record that choice alongside the file result. This list supplies candidates and an audit trail, not a prescribed movement cadence.
Questions about this 180 BPM list
Why does the download include songs absent from the table?
It records the complete ten-preview screen. For example, CAKE’s 183.8 remains visible as a rejection, so the downloadable evidence cannot be mistaken for ten songs that all passed.
Does “Gold Guns Girls” measuring 180.0 prove an exact tempo?
It proves only that this tool displayed 180.0 for the linked excerpt in this run. We did not measure every section, compare alternate masters, or establish an error margin.
Can I reproduce the same passage by jumping to a timestamp?
The provider’s metadata did not state where the preview begins in the complete recording. Use the same track record’s available preview to repeat this check; we cannot supply a verified full-track timestamp.
Recording sources and test conditions
On October 8, 2026, we selected each publicly available Deezer preview file in the live Tap BPM Now BPM Finder in Chrome. The tool decoded and analyzed each file on the device and reported completion. Deezer identifies the recordings and supplies the previews, but supplied none of these BPM figures. The linked track IDs and downloadable log distinguish the exact listings; audio and lyrics are not hosted here. The excerpt start position, whole-song stability, and analyzer error margin are not stated.
