Pitch only and pitch plus speed are different
Pitch only uses overlapping windowed grains to move musical pitch while keeping the output duration equal to the decoded input. Pitch and speed resamples the waveform: raising the rate makes it shorter and higher, while lowering it makes it longer and lower.
File and processing limits
This page accepts one file up to 50 MiB and rejects decoded audio longer than 15 minutes. Input support depends on the browser decoder; current browsers commonly decode MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, and OGG, but unsupported codec-and-container combinations will show an error. Downloads are PCM WAV.
Algorithm boundaries
Large shifts and dense mixes can produce graininess, softened transients, phasing, or unstable consonants. Vocals may sound synthetic because this browser implementation does not preserve formants, and it does not claim lossless output.
